Jamie Hamilton

Architect - Depute of Creative Workspace
2005 - present

"Underlying every building we make is a structural skeleton. By crafting elegant structural geometries, seemingly complex forms become easy to construct. "

Jamie joined Page\Park in 2003 while studying at the University of Strathclyde, and returned in 2007 following completion of his post graduate diploma. He studied Building Design Engineering, which combined traditional architectural teaching with a grounding in structural and environmental engineering. As a result, Jamie is highly skilled in understanding all technical aspects of building design, and promotes engineering innovation on all of the projects he works on.

Jamie is one of our most experienced project architects, having successfully delivered award winning buildings in various sectors, including The Theatre Royal foyer extension in Glasgow, and The Hawkhead day centre for the Scottish War Blinded in Paisley. He is currently the principal architect for the student centre development at The University of Edinburgh, which encompasses the refurbishment of a Category B listed building.
